The Power of Integration
The Observatory of Social Development of the Pacific Alliance, made up of Chile, Colombia, Mexico and Peru, is a dynamic space for information diffusion, analysis and the collective construction of knowledge for governments, academia, the private sector and civil society about social development in the 4 countries and in Latin America and the Caribbean.
The Observatory's central objective is to collect, systematize, manage, and publish updated information on the social sector that contributes to the design and strengthening of public policies, improving the well-being of our peoples and ensuring that the benefits of integration reach the entire community, as well as those practices that have been applied in the field of Social Development to face the health crisis caused by COVID-19, and which in turn are aligned with the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and the Regional Agenda for Inclusive Social Development (RAISD).
This observatory has been developed by the Technical Group for Development and Social Inclusion (GTDIS) of the Pacific Alliance, made up of representatives of the Ministry of Social Development and Family of Chile, the Administrative Department for Social Prosperity of Colombia, the Secretariat of Welfare of Mexico and the Ministry of Development and Social Inclusion of Peru, in collaboration with the Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean.
