02-24-21: The extension of the measure for the months of March and April 2021 is announced.
04-06-21: An extension of the measure until June 2021 is announced.
04-19-21: The expansion of IFE coverage (IFE-COVID Grant and COVID Grant) is announced, allowing the delivery of CLP $ 100,000 per person in the families of the most vulnerable 80%, according to the Social Registry of Households, without requirements regarding the health situation of the commune of residence. This announcement applies to payments for April, May and June 2021, unifying the IFE-COVID Grant and COVID Grant measures, and is called 'IFE Covid Extended'.
06-06-21: From June, until September 2021, this measure is replaced by the IFE Universal Grant, which extends coverage to 100% of households in the Social Registry of Households with liquid income per member over CLP $ 800,000 (for more details, see IFE Universal Grant measure).

Families that reside in communes in phase 3 or 4 and that, being below the established maximum income (which depends on the size of the household), have at least one member of the household who is a recipient of the Single Family Subsidy (SUF) or user of Chile Security and Opportunities (SSyOO).
04-19-21: coverage is expanded to the most vulnerable 80% according to the RSH, without requirements regarding the health situation of the commune of residence. This announcement applies to payments for April, May and June 2021 (unifying the IFE-COVID Grant and COVID Grant). To obtain the IFE-COVID Extended, households must: have at least one recipient of the sixth IFE payment; belong to the 80% most vulnerable, or lower, according to the RSH; have at least one dependent of the SUF, or have at least one SSyOO user. IFE-Quarantine, IFE-Transition, IFE-Preparation and Opening Grant will reach 3.2 million households (equivalent to 7.8 million people)
In January, a total of more than 1.9 million households (about 5.2 million people) will be covered with the IFE Covid Quarantine, the IFE Covid Transition and the Covid Preparation and Initial Opening Grant.
04-19-21: the expansion to the most vulnerable 80% according to the RSH, without requirements regarding the health situation of the commune of residence (unifying the IFE-COVID Grant and COVID Grant), would reach 13.3 million people in 6 million households (in April, May and June of 2021).

Monthly, the contribution must be requested every month. Payments are announced for January, February, March and April 2021.

02-08-21: En febrero, las familias usuarias del Sistema de Seguridades y Oportunidades (SSyOO) o del Subsidio Único Familiar (SUF) van a recibir el aporte de forma automática.
02-24-21: La transferencia automática para los usuarios del SSyOO y del SUF también aplican para la extensión de la medida de marzo y abril. El plazo de postulación es del 5 al 15 de marzo de 2021 para el pago de marzo y del 8 al 18 de abril de 2021 para el pago de abril.
