The programme aims to provide on-the-job training opportunities for young people aged 18 to 29 years who neither work nor study. Among the objectives of the programme are promoting the social and productive inclusion of young people, reducing unemployment and including the private sector in social responsibility activities for the productive development of young people. Through the delivery of a monthly financial contribution of MXN$ 3,600, young people are expected to acquire technical and soft skills in a work environment for a maximum period of 12 months. The participants also receive medical insurance covering accidents, illness, maternity and work risks, through the IMSS, during the period of stay in the programme.

Exit strategies

Participants can be suspended when they are incorporated into a Work Centre or they are unable to continue with the job training. They can also be removed from the program when they give false information or the participant maintains an inappropiate behaviour
