Apprenticeship Programme(2006 - )

Description

The programme aims to increase the participation rate of young people in the labour market. To this end, the programme provides a bonus to the employer in two lines of action. The first component consists of a bonus to the company, consisting of a provision of 50% of a minimum monthly income for a maximum period of 12 months per apprentice hired. The second component consists of the delivery of a one-time bonus of $400,000 to the company, intended for the training that the apprentice must receive, through an OTEC, or internal trainer.
