Description

The programme seeks to address the low levels of employability and job opportunities for women in vulnerable situations, belonging to the Chile Solidario and Ethical Family Income Subsystem. It is implemented in all regions of the country and is designed as a training and technical proposal that aims to enable participants to develop personal and work skills, including technical training in a trade, enabling them to enter the world of work, either as employees or self-employed. The courses are made up of an average of 20 women and their duration varies according to the number of hours of each course, and can last up to 4 months. PRODEMU, with its own staff, is the direct executor of the educational sessions, and for the technical training stage it hires the services of OTECs previously selected and under the supervision of the Foundation.

Women over 18 years of age, who have low levels of employability and belong to families participating in Chile Solidario and Subsistema de Seguridad y Oportunidades, where at least one member of the family has a regular income and stable remuneration.

Comments

Changes in the intervention strategy as a result of the health context: The workshops are conducted in on-line mode, for which data connection kits and mobile broadband are provided. The number of sessions was reduced from 7 to 4 in the Gender Awareness stage, and labor intermediation from 4 to 2 sessions. Workshop sessions were conducted using the ""Meet"" or ""Zoom"" platforms for the DCL program. For the DCL program, the development of the Oficio classes is adapted to e-learning format and the Oficio is adapted to Digital format. For the implementation, priority will be given to face-to-face or mixed format.
